Gold meets white. ELVE shows the bicolor pattern at its clearest. His short, plush coat keeps every line sharp: warm golden chinchilla on top, bright white on the chest, paws and face. Few colors look this graphic in a British Shorthair.
Character. ELVE is the explorer of the litter: active, lively and always on the move. He is first to a new toy and first to check a new room. Raised in our home, he is well socialized and loves to play with people. When the game is over, he purrs happily on a lap. A great match for an active family.
A breeder’s choice. Golden chinchilla bicolors are still rare in British Shorthairs. ELVE brings that pattern together with his father’s cinnamon and dilution genetics. That gives a breeding program a lot to work with: bicolor, gold and rare color potential in one male.
Pedigree. His father, U’Golden Elvis Felpati Gatti (BRI py 11 03), is a fawn golden shaded bicolor stud, homozygous for cinnamon and dilution. His white-spotting genes give ELVE his bicolor pattern. His mother, Vlastar Lux Malta (BRI ny 12), is a black golden chinchilla queen from our own line.
Best suited for. A cattery building a golden bicolor British Shorthair line. Or an active home that wants a bright, playful and truly unusual golden cat.
