A landmark final litter from our beloved stud Quiz and queen Orange — four kittens, including two boys in the exceptionally rare Sunshine (flaxen gold) color, offering other breeders a last chance to bring this special line into their own program.
Litter C-26 — 01 August 2026
Litter C-26 is a bittersweet milestone for us: it is the final litter of our wonderful stud, Vlastar Lux Quiz, who has now completed his breeding career at Vlastar Lux Cattery. Paired with our lovely queen Real Blessing Orange, Quiz has gone out on a high note — four beautifully typed kittens, two of them carrying his rare and coveted Sunshine coloring.
About the Parents
Vlastar Lux Quiz, BRI nv 12, is one of the most special cats we have ever bred — a true “Sunshine” (also called “white golden” or flaxen gold) British Shorthair male with soft green eyes and an exceptionally warm, radiant coat. Genetically, Quiz is homozygous for the CORIN wideband gene (wbBKH/wbBKH) — the mutation responsible for this rare, luminous flaxen color — and he is also a confirmed dilution carrier (D/d) and longhair carrier (L/l). He has been fully DNA tested (PKD clear, HCM clear across all known mutations) by FERAGEN Lab.
Real Blessing Orange, BRI ny 11, is a Black Golden Shaded female bred by Real Blessing Cattery, and is herself a direct carrier of the longhair gene — inherited from her British Longhair father, Best Saumur. Paired with Quiz, this combination of golden and longhair genetics has produced a litter with real depth behind its bright, eye-catching colors.
About the Kittens
CELESTIAN and CECILIA (BRI ny 11) are classic black golden shaded kittens — bright, clean, and true to the breed’s warm golden charm.
CYTRYN and CELLO (BRI nv 12 and BRI av 12) are the stars of this litter: two boys expressing their father’s exceptional Sunshine (flaxen gold) color — an exceptionally rare shade, sometimes called “white golden,” that is still recognized by only a handful of felinological systems worldwide (WCF France recognized it as a standard, “Golden Flaxen”/”Sunshine,” in February 2025).
A Rare Opportunity for Other Breeders
Because this is Quiz’s last litter with us, CYTRYN and CELLO represent a genuinely rare opportunity: a chance for other breeders to bring this exceptional, homozygous CORIN Sunshine bloodline into their own program, without needing access to Quiz himself.
