Litter Y(C&P) comes from a truly special pairing: our stud Marwan MagicLand’s and our extensively health- and gene-tested queen Chic&Pride Barbie. Both kittens in this small, high-quality litter share something rare — an exceptionally light, bright golden tone that stands out even among our own golden lines.
About the Parents
Marwan MagicLand’s is a British Shorthair male, BRI ny 12 — a bright Black Golden Chinchilla imported from MagicLand’s Cattery in Turkey, known for his classic “bobby” type, large saturated green eyes, and valuable dilution and longhair carrier genetics.
Chic&Pride Barbie, BRI ay 12, is one of our most thoroughly documented queens — fully DNA tested and clear of PKD and HCM, with confirmed CORIN copper/sunshine golden genetics and a dilute (blue) coat factor. It’s exactly this combination with Marwan that gives both of her kittens here their unusually light, luminous golden coloring.
About the Kittens
Both boys in Litter Y(C&P) are remarkably light and bright in color, showing what we describe as a CORIN, or “Copper Light,” golden expression — a clean, radiant tone that’s rarer and more valuable than the more common deeper golden shades. Both are also possible carriers of longhair and chocolate genetics, inherited from their father and mother respectively, adding real depth to their breeding value.
YUKI BLUE (BRI ny 12) shows this light golden tone beautifully, with very good type and structure.
YALE (BRI ay 12) has developed a genuinely fascinating “pinky” blue-golden coloring, paired with excellent type — making him a standout even within this exceptional litter.
